To begin with the definition what is an "expert"? An expert is someone who has extensive knowledge or abilities in a particular subject, and s/he can help others by telling them what to do, and how to do things in their particular fields effectively.
However, I think it's just a comparative definition...
Firstly, even if you devote your entire life to research in a particular thing, chances are you still don't know everything, there are people who know more than you. Is it true? Secondly, there are so many people out there who are interested in your subject matter but know less than you. And that number is huge! You just have to read a book in your subject entirely, and you'll have more things to share with people than you can imagine. And thirdly, are we in business? If you wait to become a "real expert" with your niche, you'll have to wait forever!
So, how can we solve this problem?
You know the news reporters? The people who ought to talk about a wide range of topics everyday, the topics that they have zero knowledge about, are facing the exact problem you're in. How can they overcome it? The answer is they are reporters not experts!
Do you see the difference? No?
You can succeed with your chosen niche, even if you know nothing about it, if you position yourself as a niche reporter to people! You do exactly the same thing as news reporters do. You collect useful data from various sources, package them in digestible forms such as short reports, e-books, recorded mp3, videos, etc, and present it to your niche.
Just make sure that the information you're collecting is from trusted sources because you'll lose your credibility with people if you tell lies to them.
Want to know another strategy?
This one works very well if you're targeting a niche in the health market that you know nothing about.
Just imagine that one of your family members has that problem. And your mission, as a son/daughter/spouse/etc, is to find out solutions to help your loved one get rid of it, or at least relieve the pain. And if you can think that way, you'll have more motivation to continue with your niche. And it's even better if helping people is your second nature!
You see, you don't have to be a "real expert" to make big money with you chosen niche. Fact is, only a small number of successful affiliate marketers are expert in their niches, the rest approach their niche by becoming either reporters or solution seekers for their "imagined" loved ones. And if you can apply these affiliate marketing strategies, nothing can hold you back
